Before we move to the next. it is time to recap the Masters Poker Event. We have a lot of things to write today before we go to the next coverage.
Oh, wait, Actually the next coverage is Davao, and as a player and as a media. The Metro Card Club Davao is a great stop before you move to the next tour.

Gerardo Lubas or Julius was on top form for this event. He actually finished as the chip leader of Flight A and was the overall chip leader for elimination.
He maintain his chip lead and once it was the final table. Defended his lead to the end.
Julius has played a lot of events both local and international including WSOP.
He is also now a proud Daddy! Congratulations!

Not much is known about the champion. but basing the final table, He does have potential.
There were a lot of great players on the felt during the final table. So he may have some skills and could potentially be a future champion. However, we have not seen him this event. Only time will tell!
Event 3 – Crazy Pineapple – JC Estrella – Champion

Maters Poker Introduced a new event called Crazy Pineapple. You get 3 cards at the start but once the flop is dealt. players have to throw away 1 card before any action.
The winner was Team Umido! They are not really an official team nad have been doing their separate things most of the time.
They are composed of old Malate players who have become close over the years. but still do their separate thing. As there is no official lineup, the name is just a monicker.
The final 3 players were Jaja Leoncio, Bj Perez, and JC Estrella (The eventual winner).
There was no collusion nor soft playing that was involved. because even on the final 3 they were doing their best to outplay each other. As they are old players, they understand to just play your game. It was a riot watching them outplay and outdo each other.
Kudos to Masters poker introducing a fun event.
Event 4 – Ladies Event – Shy runkle – Champion – Vavavoom!

The Ladies event was a hit as a lot of ladies came in and played the event.
Champions and champions Wives joined in hoping to win the special trophy.
She even has to fight against the True queen of PH Poker Grace Takayama on the heads-up battle.
Shy Runkle was ahead all the way even going to the final table but during the heads-up. Grace Takayama suddenly showed her true prowess and slowly got the lead against Shy.
Grace definitely got the advantage in skill and experience. But Shy Runkle had a secret weapon to equalize it.
Of course, we won’t share it since it is a secrete weapon.

Macky Has been consistent during this tour. she had made multiple final table appearances.
She has honed her skills over the years and has played events outside the country as well including the World Series of Poker.
Although players are more aggressive nowadays. She is learning and growing.
We hope to hear she becomes a champion for a main event soon.
