Aries Sigua was the bubble boy for Day 1B. Thankfully with the Mil Poker Bubble protection. he got his buy-in back and was able to play again.
Playing Day 1C, he is now third in the chip count and has a chance to secure the Kings Bounty.

Jim Dively still leads the chip count, and Gerardo Lubas, the 1st runner-up of Octoberfest held at Wild Aces just recently is the chip leader of Day 1D and second in the overall chip count.

The first-ever Takayama Cup is now being held at the Metro Card Club Davao with a PHP 3 Million GTD.
The first few days were slow but finally, players started to arrive in support of the king.
From Pampanga, Manila, Cebu, Gensan, Cagayan De Oro and Davao. Players have come and are still coming to support the first-ever tournament of the king.
Although it has yet to meet the guarantee. only 72 players are needed to break the guarantee.
