Session 1
Session 1
Poker tips for beginners/Mid-level players
Session 1 focuses on hand ranges. What hand is good to call and what hand you should fold even if it’s tempting?
Is it really that important?
Yes, Have you ever noticed you got stuck on a bad position?
It is like moving a chess piece. The first move will dictate the game. The wrong first move could spell disaster.
The main difference is you only have 4 moves.
So the first move is very important. For example, You called/raise with an Ace 8 offsuit. Suddenly the button raises. Would it be wise to call the raise with Ace 8?
Even if the Ace comes out on the flop, could your opponent have a better hand?
The instructor (Dave Spade) shared his own version of the table that he made some adjustment.
Session 2
Session 2
Post Flop Strategy
Session 2 was added to the first day. Session 2 was actually quite interesting as the Instructor (Dave Spade), shared some of his personal experienced to emphasize certain points.
The post-flop strategy was discussed.
A lot of players usually make a big mistake on the flop.
After your first move on the pre-flop, what you should do next? you should be limp and hide your card and play defense? should you attack by betting first?
As the lesson progressed, Dave shared more experience and the importance of reading your opponent.
Players should take advantage of the lesson ActionPH is offering. it teaches players of having a better foundation.
