With so many poker players announcing they will be present in Cebu, some of them are wondering what else to do in Cebu, especially the first-timers.
If you are from Manila, thankfully there are a lot of Manila poker players that would be going to Cebu as well. Manila players can go with them as well as they have their own plans to visit the other places.
Our team will be arriving on the morning 20th of June.
But for those who prefer to visit Cebu alone here is a quick guide to the thing you can do in Cebu
Visit the Beaches!
Cebu is an island so it is home to a lot of great beaches, Bohol and Boracay are also close by.
In the past events that were held in Cebu, Players have often times opted to stay a few more days and visit the beaches.

Cebu Ocean Park
Although we have visited Cebu so many times already after the pandemic. Our work has kept us from enjoying Cebu.
This time tho, we plan to visit Cebu Ocean Park which is open from 10 AM – 6 PM and they actually have. a great promo deal.
PHP 550 for weekdays and 700 for weekends.
Definitely a must-try for this trip!

The church was declared a national historical landmark in 1941.
Founded in 1565, It is the oldest Roman Catholic church in the country, allegedly built on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño de Cebú was found during the expedition of Miguel López de Legazpi.
This was where Christianity began in the Philippines and is the oldest church in the Philippines.
So a must visit for the Catholic devotees.
Magellans Cross
The Magellan’s Cross refers to the original wooden cross planted by explorers of the Spanish expedition of the first circumnavigation of the world.
Led by Ferdinand Magellan, upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on April 21, 1521.
The original cross was encased inside another wooden cross made of tindalo wood in 1835.

The Simala Shrine is a Romana catholic pilgrimage site built, described by many as one of the most beautiful churches in the Philippines.
The Simala Shrine is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage site. The site hosts the image of the Our Lady of Lindogon which is believed to be miraculous by devotees of the Virgin Mary after it is attributed to the healing of those who were afflicted with dengue in the area in 1998 after it reportedly shed tears.
