The tournament is being held at GenSan Poker Club located at the heart of the city.
As we have only arrived today. we would write more about the place very soon.
The Poker Room is a PHP 1 Million Guaranteed event with a buy-in of PHP 5,500 (PHP 5,000 + 500).
Today is day 1A of the event that started at 2 PM.

Although there a tournament in Manila, GenSan Poker club is actually doing quite well as the other poker clubs are sending their people.
There is a huge different in terms of how poker rooms operates in Manila and the rooms at Cebu.
Angel Kabigting originally from Cebu is in Gensan early hoping to qualify.
Meanwhile, our host Carlo Kin Sacay has also jumped in.

Tuna Lover Delight.
GenSan is known as the Tuna capital of the Philippines, it is estimated they catch around 350 Metric tons of tuna per day and only 40% goes to the local market.
Definitely one of the things we are looking forward to sampling this week.
Meanwhile, Day 1A is now at Level 6, and 3 tables running.
Local Champions like Jon Ramos aka Mahal ka Ni Lord and Bryan James have joined day 1A and hoping to qualify early.
