The Coronavirus has affected the poker industry in more ways than one. One of the affected is this year’s WSOP.
Casino in the United States may have begun to open. but it was a wise decision to cancel the live event for this year for a valid number of reasons.
Many players were disappointed with the news but this month a lot of great news came out.
The first one is that this year the WSOP will still be held but online. For the first time, you can win a bracelet online. 85 bracelets are up for grabs.
The second news that came out was that it will be held in two platforms that will give players better access. WSOP.com and GG poker will be the two online gaming sites players can play.
The main event will carry a 25 MIllion USD guarantee.

The first half will be held on WSOP.com. The Events will carry a limited re-entry policy just like the live event.

Pokerstars – Summer Stadium Series
The Summer Stadium Series is the new tournament series of Pokerstars. Like the scoop, There will be 3 tiers of buy-in set with different ranges.
The first week will also have the lowest buy-in for all 3 tiers and will go up every week.

J88 held a live event in South Korea coordinating with different bars to maintain the safety guidelines. 800 players joined the event and 160 players came back for day 2. it is still ongoing and we will update it soon.
