Publish date: December 4, 2021

Hey, poker playas!

Here is the day 1B recap. Day 1B was the last day of to enter the Main event of Pokerstars Live special tournament held at Okada Manila.

News spread out that Day 1A almost broke the guarantee of 1 million PHP. which sent players who did not have any intentions to play to suddenly come joined the event.

Early on a lot of the pros were spotted before the tournament started (3 pm). The signs that it would be a good fight could be seen as the players trickle in.

There was no short of Pros and the local pros slowly joined the event.

There were a lot of surprises as there were many late entries including Florencio Campomanes who is the APPT Manila and Red Dragon Manila also came out to play joining at the last few minutes of the break.

Dave Spade who was in Boracay the day before day 1B even flew in to play.

The event went on and it was obvious that the pros never really lost their touch. Some of them might have come in late but they were gaining chips and were looking good as the tournament progressed.

Alexander Ungra was another surprise as he was not really as well-known as the other players. but in one hand grab the chip lead and stuck with it. Especially during the final hours were players were scared and wanted to make sure to reach day 2. Alexander was hunting the weakness and slowly made use of it amassing more chips and ending as the chip leader of the all-day 1’s.

Meanwhile, Dave Spade who got busted on the main event decided to jump in on the side event. Lester Edoc also jumped in late as he was playing in the main event.

Amazingly. both, later on, were battling to be the champion of the side event as they face each other heads up. eventually, it was Dave who won the event.

It was a champion against the champion in the final side event of the day. The NLH KO turbo event was won by Dave spade.

Dave Spade actually flew in from Boracay as he heard a calling that he needed to be in Pokerstars.

Although it was a tough battle. He was up against Lester Edoc in the heads up but he eventually won the event.
