Hey, poker playas!
How was your weekend? did you enjoy it? Although a lot of people are still enjoying the long weekend here.
or nursing and hangover.
So how was the poker room this week in Metro Manila?
Here is a quick rundown.
Cemeteries are close
MANILA, Philippines — All cemeteries in the country will be closed from October 29 to November 2, 2021, to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission during “Undas,” (All Souls’ Day)
Twenty-nine public cemeteries in the National Capital Region (NCR) will not accept visitors from October 29 to November 2, a time when Filipinos observe Undas or All Saints’ Day.
Poker rooms and houses were open.
Poker rooms and houses are open. Although Resort world is definitely getting the bulk of the player due to its big bad beat jackpot.
Although the players may be there. the action is not. A lot of players opted to play in other rooms where the action was not ruined by the jackpot grinders.
The problem is when you have jackpot grinders. the actions are slowed down a lot as a lot of fo players are waiting for the jackpot instead of playing poker.
Yeah. the jackpot is big, but most seasoned players know that it is hard to hit it, and it is more on luck. but with actions slowed down due to it. One may opt to play in different rooms instead.
Hence Saturday, a lot of action shifted to other poker rooms. Poker rooms were surprised by the influx and the action was actually great.
But a lot of the action slowed down Sunday as even the streets were not that busy. Many people probably opted to rest or go to their respective provinces.
We wonder how Monday would go.
Rizal park – the national park that tried to do the best it can.
Visitors enjoyed a night of spooky fun at the “Haunted House at the Park” event near the Japanese Garden in Luneta on Sunday
Actors dressed up in various creepy costumes and makeup to give the visitors some thrills and chills as they stroll through the park at night.
Among those seen were a masked man wearing a white dress splattered with red paint, a man inside a coffin, witches, and scary creatures with horns on their foreheads.
It is not the big or really frightening places that big companies could afford to make. but a national park with a limited budget is making an effort to bring a little normalcy to the people.
People were lining up although the effects were funny and cheap. it was still a bit of fun.
As a new month closes, a new one begins.
Happy Halloween everyone!
