In a last-minute backtrack, the Philippines’ coronavirus task force retained the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila until September 15, delaying the expected transition of the capital region to a new lockdown system.
MECQ is the second to the strictest form of quarantine. while GCQ is laxer.
More businesses are allowed to open during GCQ.

Specific guidelines, however, remained unclear as of Tuesday, the day of the supposed expiration of the metropolis’ MECQ status.
What is in it for the future?
Sadly, even if poker rooms remain close. They still do incur expenses. There have been reports some poke rooms are now up for sale.
