But compared to other games, why is it easy to quit poker?
Number 1 – because playing poker for a living is hard.
It is true! poker may be easy to learn but it is not the easiest of games.
When you are competing with other players, they are also live human. They do evolve.
We interviewed one player and he told us this
10 years ago when there was the first boom. playing poker was easy. A Korean player comes in and a new table would be formed. 500 PHP can become 2,000 PHP easily. but nowadays when Korean players come in. They know it will be a battle. They would have big chips and would be aggressive. That is why a lot of players quit. the game just got harder. Some people leveled up. some people just dont.
Poker is a mind sport. It is not simply winning a hand then leave. Oftentimes players would play for hours. It not about waiting for a good hand, shoved, win, and leave.
You would be committing a few hours just so you can make the most of your starting stack. It is about getting the value for your money.
You have to outplay your opponent for a long period of time.
Number 2 – They want easy money.
But the truth is very simple. you bet you do not have to think and just pray and hope you win. you then double down and hope to win again.
There no need to think, you do not have to think about how much did he bet pre-flop? is he a tight player? What are the possible hands he could have played with. All this thinking.
Just jump on the board or “talpak na”
If you understand the simple mechanics of baccarat or even cockfighting. the truth is the house will always have the odds in favor of them.

But it easy. just bet and hope you win.
Number 3 – They do not want to Evolved
Most poker players do not want to evolve. We knew players who have bought a lot of poker books but have not read half of it.
Poker is competing with other human beings. human being evolved.
Most of the games right now have shifted online. A common complaint is they get bad beat more often than live.
But the truth is. We are dealt more hand online than live. If you are dealt more hands then chances are you get more bad beat. But that is because you are playing more hands.
But instead of learning from the mistakes. One often complains about a system being rigged.
Not to say there is no rigged system. There are. but then again why do some players win a lot still?

Because once you play poker. you would always love the game. How many people have promised to quit only to come back again?
