Looking Back at 2020 – Singapore, Japan, Taiwan & Malaysia GPI Updated

There have not been any massive movements with other countries due to the pandemic.

There may have been a surprise or two entries and some little change. But no massive shift.

Singapore Number 1 GPI 2020 – Graeme Siow

Graeme Siow sits on top of the GPI for Singapore but his last recorded win was in February 2020,

He was active in playing the WSOP online event. Erwin Ng was a surprise entry. His record consist of him being active playing in China.

Alex Lee stays on the top 3, but Si Yang Pua climbs to number 4.

Japan Number 1 GPI 2020 –Kazuhiko Yotsushika

Japan GPI’s only active movement came from Masato Yokosawa. However, it was not enough to dethrone Kazuhiko Yotsushika.

Taiwan Number 1 GPI 2020 –Pete Chen

Taiwan may be one of the few countries that have effectively contain the virus and held live poker events like normal. But Pete Chen still stayed on top of the league.

Carlos Chang went up to second place while some players were out of the top 10.

Malaysia Number 1 GPI 2020 – Paul Pua

Malaysia may have some of the biggest high rollers in the world of high stake poker. But this time they laid low.

One of the few countries where there was not much massive movement.
