The pandemic has affected all our lives in many ways than one. But we also have to look at the people who are more affected than us. It is time to show our care and love.
Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body.
We have lost so many people to cancer, and so many people are suffering from it. Let us pay respect to some of the personalities who are suffering from cancer and those that were taken.
Chadwick Aaron Boseman
He is known as the king of Wakanda after staring in the MCU’s Black panther.
Boseman died at his home as a result of complications related to colon cancer on August 28, 2020.
A great actor that also starred in many great films

Get on up – as the singer James Brown.
Marshall – as Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
Boseman achieved international fame for playing superhero Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) from 2016 to 2019.
The film received numerous awards and nominations.

Michael Richard Sexton
Michael Richard Sexton[2] (September 22, 1947 – September 6, 2020) was an American professional poker player and commentator. He is a member of the Poker Hall of Fame.
Sexton was a gymnast and attended The Ohio State University, where he earned a degree in public recreation after changing majors from the business.
He has visited the Philippines a few times for the WPT Manila. He was a host commentator and was friendly to all the players.
He also has WSOP Bracelet for winning the 1989 seven-card split event.
During his younger days, he was deeply associated with Stu Ungar.
Sexton died on September 6, 2020, after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Fighting cancer and spreading positivity
There is a poker player in Asia who is suffering from cancer, and her fight continues. She needs support from people as well. Sometimes a simple message means a lot.
Currently, she is spreading positivity.
Vilma Goldman
Vilma Goldman only started poker in 2015. However, she made quite an impact during her short career.
She became a sponsored player for New Caledonia, A Pro for Tien Long, and even represented the Philippines in IFMP.
Diagnose with cancer in 2016, she had an operation and tried to restart her career. It was short-lived as her cancer came back.
She has undergone chemotherapy, but the cancer was persistent. She will soon take Avastin hoping to get rid of the disease.
But even during the pandemic and fighting cancer, she is trying to spread positivity and encourage people to keep fighting.
She is now operating a website with her kids and friends hoping to inspire people to keep fighting.
