Day 1A – The Game Changer
Day 1A of the Philippine Poker Million at Masters Poker Club may just prove to be the game changer. The flight wrapped up at Level 12 with blinds at 1,000/1,500/1,500. While we’re still waiting for confirmation, it’s common for Day 2 to resume at the lowest completed level across all Day 1s. If that’s the case, then bringing a 30K stack into Day 2 would still give you 20 big blinds to work with—a healthy spot to continue the grind.
Though there are two buy-in options available, the PHP 27,500 buy-in stands out. If you qualify for Day 2, your stack would already be worth triple your initial investment, making it the more attractive choice for many players.
Topping it off, this is the first-ever national poker event of the Philippines—and the chance to become the inaugural Philippine Poker Million Champion is a title that will go down in history. Things are definitely heating up.
