MAIN EVENT DAY 1A

Level 0

Veterans of the game made a powerful impact during Day 1A of the Metro Card Club’s RVS Cup 2024 Main Event, but it was the players from the south who stole the spotlight. Alvir Innocentes dominated the day as chip leader, while Davao’s Martin B showcased his skill and resilience, ending as the second chip leader. Martin squared off multiple times against APT Champion Renniel Galvez, proving he has what it takes to compete at the top level.

Meanwhile, Mike Takayama, WSOP bracelet holder, advanced smoothly to Day 2, taking a substantial chunk out of Innocentes’s stack during the last few levels of play. Not to be outdone, two skilled female players also qualified for Day 2: Cebuana Samantha Kristine and Maggy Cenon. Both are formidable in their own right, with Kristine carrying the pride and support of the Cebu poker community.

With such a diverse and talented lineup, the upcoming rounds are bound to bring some intense action. Stay tuned to see how the southern players and the veterans clash as they battle their way to the top!
