It took nearly 12 hours for the 2020 World Series of Poker Online Event #7: $800 No-Limit Hold’em Knockout Deepstack to finish. In the end, the fight was worth it for the winner of the event. it was Joon “jykpoker” Kim coming out on top of a field of 989 players, which resulted in a $731,660 prize pool. He got $103,127 top prize, $3,000 in bounties, and his first gold bracelet.

Final table action

The final table started at level Level 39 with the blinds of 80,000/160,000/20,000 ante.

Jeff “mavsusc” Platt leads the final table in chips with Joon “jykpoker” Kim with 3,959,807. One bracelet holder was on the table, Eric “circleball” Baldwin who was 4th in stack with 3,589,605. “circleball” has won the WSOP bracelet twice.

“bunsamillion” came in with the lowest stack which is 1,682,222, which is only 10 times the big blind. However, it was”thehofffx” that got busted out first. 

“smallmytable” moved all in for 1,896,108 and “thehofffx” called off for 1,705,896 from the button. The rest of the players folded making it into a heads-up and a classic match, A pocket pair versus two overcards.

It was down to 3 players and 2-time WSOP bracelet winner Eric “circleball” Baldwin was still in. However, he was stopped by Joon “jykpoker” Kim.

Joon “jykpoker” Kim raised the button to 640,000.

Eric “circleball” Baldwin on the small blind responded by three-betting all in for 10,394,644.

Eric with a pocket pair of 7 was a good hand and jam only to discover his opponent hand was the monster pocket A.

The heads-up started at Level 43: 160,000/320,000/40,000 ante between Joon “jykpoker” Kim who had 25,000,000 in chips against “bunsamillion” which had 4,695,888 chips. 

Joon “jykpoker” Kim was ahead however, “bunsamillion” was able to double up twice and but was never been able to bridge the gap as he was still losing chips slowly.

It was at Level 44 with the blinds at 200,000/400,000/ 50,000 ante that saw the last hands being dealt.

Joon “jykpoker” Kim on the button went all in, and “bunsamillion” call having 2,803,552 left after the big blind.
