The Kings Card Club of Cagayan De Oro has yet to make an appearance, and with today being the last day to qualify, all eyes are on whether there will be a surprise influx of players.

Yesterday’s surprise entries pushed the total number of entries at the Kadayawan Poker Festival 2024 to 186, with only 9 players surviving the day. Bong Tan emerged as the top chip leader, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion to the tournament.

He once emerge as the second chip leader for a qualifier but was unsatisfied, he joined again the next day and ended as the chip leader.

Mike Takayama, IVY VP, and Yang Yang, three of the most influential poker players in the Philippines, joined the Kadayawan Festival 2024 in Davao. Despite their strong presence, only IVY managed to qualify for Day 2 after playing on Day 1D, showing just how tough the competition has been in this event

Mike Takayama was eliminated when his top pair(k, 10) went up against a flush draw (ACE 4), Althoug his opponent did not get the flush, the Ace comes out on the turn.
