hey, Poker Playas!

As the poker scene in Manila evolves, a new poker room has opened its doors in one of the friendliest casinos in the city. Though the poker room itself is new, the team behind it is well-known for creating significant changes in the Manila poker scene. With a wealth of experience and a keen ear for player feedback, expectations are high for this newly opened poker room.

When the new poker room opened its doors on June 1, 2024, it was met with enthusiasm and excitement from the players. One month later, the room continues to attract a steady stream of poker enthusiasts, both seasoned and new. Here’s a quick review of the newest poker room in Manila:

CITY OF DREAMS MANILA

Still Manila’s friendliest Casino

Transportation

City of Dreams Manila is one of Manila’s more player-friendly casinos, renowned for its accessibility and convenience. Whether arriving by private or public transport, players find it easy to get to.

The casino ensures a steady availability of well-maintained taxis, with strict security monitoring to prevent unreasonable demands for short trips.

The player-friendly environment extends beyond transportation, creating an overall seamless and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

Food and beverages remain a highlight at City of Dreams Manila. Unlike other casinos that have cut down on complimentary drinks to reduce costs—sometimes offering the same drink for an entire week or restricting availability—City of Dreams continues to provide a wide variety of free drinks. This includes the rare treat of milk tea with quality boba, a perk that’s becoming increasingly uncommon.

When it comes to food, while it’s expected that prices inside a casino are higher than outside, City of Dreams ensures that the experience is worth the extra cost. The casino offers a diverse range of dining options that prioritize satisfaction over price. Whether you order a simple dish or a more elaborate meal, the focus is on providing a dining experience that justifies the cost, leaving you satisfied with your choice.

2nd Floor

The room

Located on the second floor, the poker room at City of Dreams Manila is highly accessible and conveniently situated just in front of Red Ginger.

If you’re coming from the escalator to the right of the casino entrance, the poker room is easily spotted. Despite having a limited number of tables (6-7), the games offered are quite enticing, ranging from 25-50 to higher stakes that have been attracting some of Manila’s big game players.

The AMBIANCE

The poker room at City of Dreams Manila stands out with its attentive staff who ensure that players are seated promptly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making visitors feel at ease as soon as they step in. This level of hospitality enhances the overall experience, setting a positive tone for the games ahead.

Expectations

Soul Poker has a great team—innovative, passionate, and truly embodying the name of their poker room. Expectations are high as players eagerly anticipate their next moves. The big question remains: Will the owners support them?

Everything is still up in the air since they have just opened, but there’s no denying their potential. With the right backing, Soul Poker could become a formidable player in the poker scene, capable of hosting events that rival international competitions. Rumors are already circulating about potential big events, but nothing has been officially announced yet.

Stay tuned for updates!
