Some countries are now slowly lifting restrictions and preparing for the new world. We hope you guys are safe and following the safety guidelines. it will be a new world as a vaccine for the  Coronavirus is still not available.

Poker players have migrated to the online scene as it is more available, Poker sites and poker-group apps are quite active with each and their own promotions.

Michael Soyza Bags High Roller Event as APT Online Kicks off on Natural8 

The Natural8 ambassador and Team Pro Micheal Soyza bags the high roller event on the inaugural APT Online series. A $1000 buy-in event that saw more than 70 players registered. Top 9 players were paid and here are the results.

Solaire gaming floor to operate at 20% capacity upon reopening: Razon

Solaire is leading the charge in re-opening in the Philippines by being careful. Employees have and are being tested for COv19.

No official announcement has been made whether the lockdowns for Manila will be lifted, however. POGO has been given Go-Signal to resume operation.  

Tycoon Enrique Razon Jr. invested in the mass testing of employees at his group’s port terminal and integrated gaming resort businesses in the Philippines to protect and prepare manpower resources for the “new normal” amid the COVID-19 pandemic., who chairs both ICTSI and Bloomberry, said in a press statement.

GGPoker WSOP Super Circuit Online Series begins

The WSOP super Circuit Online series began yesterday and attracted quite a good number.

GG Poker is one of the most active poker sites in Asia but has limitation is some areas. however, it did not stop the players from joining and trying to bag the event. 

Event 1 – Charity Event

The Covid Charity $1M GTD event is the first WSOPC Ring Event of the online series. Due to the ongoing crisis worldwide, the goal was to raise funds for the Nevada Community Foundation’s Covid 19 Emergency Response Fund. Ten percent of the $ 1,111 buy in was to be donated. With 1,595 contributing to the cause, a substantial $ 177K was pooled. After 13 hours of play, Canadian player “TheMadQueen” emerged victorious to claim the $ 269,367 first prize.

Event 2

JuanMartinDelPotro emerged as champion by railing jolen on the first hand of heads up play. The final day began with 3,426 players. the second WSOPC Ring Event attracted a 28,291 entries.

Unibet Poker Moves All 2020 Events Online

first Unibet Open Online kicks off in a May 1st with the Fall and Winter Unibet Open Online to be held in September and December respectively.
