Testing the Water
Many players have been wondering how is the game at the Kings Card Club. Here is a quick report as we test the water last night.
Same buy-in the whole night!
Players Habit
What we noticed so far is players have the habit of buying the same buy-in all throughout the night.
For example, A player who bought PHP 1k will keep buying in 1k the whole night. ironically they would reach 10K+ – 20k+ with the same buy-in all night and will stick to the 1k buy-in.
The hands we play – Kings 1
They buy everything!
The first hand was a disaster. playing 25/50 game with a 2k stack. we were fortunate to get pocket queens under the gun on the first hand.
Raising it to 125, 2 players called. Player 1 just rebought with 1k.
Flop was king high with 2 hearts.
leading the bet to control the betting. We fired with a 200 bet. Called once again by the two players.
The turn was a king which made us confident enough to believe 2 players were on a draw. players 1 had around 600+ while player 2 had around 800+
Firing a bet of 425 which would be enough to scare any draws on the turn.
Player 1 called leaving him with only 200+ while player 2 folded.
The river was heart and player 2 proudly shoved his remaining 200+. Committed to the pot and curious to see the hand. we called.
