The former Batman Ben Affleck took part in an online celebrity poker tournament which included a lot of A-lister.
The charity chosen was “Feeding America”, a nonprofit organization that helps to feed more than 46 million people through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other community-based agencies.
it was a great field as a lot of stars joined the event. actors and poker pros chip in and donated at least $10,000 each as a buy-in, with some huge bonus donations – as well as ACR throwing $1million into the pot.
ACR boss Phil Nagy was too tired after the tournament to actually tot up the massive boost for Feeding America, but somewhere around the $2million mark was raised for the good cause…
There were some poker pros that joined as well including Poker Legend Doyle Brunson.
it was a heads-up battle between Thirst Lounge streamer Ebony Kenney and actor Kevin Pollak, the actor-comedian.
Kevin Pollak is no stranger on the felt as he has cashed in twice in the twice WSOP Main Event
The game was won Kenney but the real winner, of course, was the Feeding America charity
We hope Asian celebrities and pros also do charity events as many people are deeply affected by the Coronavirus. a little help means a lot of a huge number of people.
