Publish date: July 31, 2023

Hey, Poker Playas!

We are now down to 18 players!

The GPC 2 of the Gensan Poker Club is now on its Final day where 18 players will compete to become the champion.

The tournament did not overlay and the total number of entries was 241.

Considering they were up against a branded event and other big events all across Asia. It is a very good result as not a single Manila base player was spotted and yet it exceeded the guarantee.

18 players are left and here we are left, but there can only be one!

Tata

Davao
Chip leader – Final Day
Table 3 – Seat 7
1,008,5000

Tata will enter the final day with a huge leader against all of his opponents.

Tata was also the chip leader for Day 1C so he was able the maintain his lead and bring it to the Final day.

Tata is one of the biggest hope for Davao for Revenge, as Alex Cruz of Gensan, took home the Araw ng Dabaw poker tournament

IVY VP

Team Voyager Cebu
2nd chip leader –
Table 4 – seat 3
620,500

She is a queen for a reason!

IVY VP had a bad start on day 2. In the first few hands of the day, more than half of her stack was taken away when her pocket queen went against aces.

Slowly she had to climb and recover from her loss until the final level of the day.

She Went into full battle mode and started taking chips from her opponents and dominated the table.

Ian

Kings Card Club
3rd chip leader –
Table 4 – seat 7
390,500

The kings Card Club of CDO is about to open and its Royal Knights are going all around the South to make their presence felt.

Ian is coming in on the final Day at number 3! can he bring it home for CDO

Christian Lavares

Team Metro Davao
4th in Chips
Table 3 – seat 8
387,500

Christian Lavares was actually quite a hidden figure in this tournament. coming into day 2 with only 34,800.

It was only on the counting that we realized that he actually was able to amass a good stack.

He kept his stack unnoticeable until the last minute.

Now at the final day. Can the grinder from Davao bring it home for the team? Stay tuned!
