Team Manila finally made their presence felt as 3 of their Vanguards joined in early. Mike Bueza, Paro Paro G, and Arnel arrived last night and are eager to bring the trophy home.

IVP CUP Day 1 Recap
The tournament did well yesterday getting 90 entries for Day 1A. A good start and even better than some Manila poker rooms.
It was more Local Cebuanos vying to qualify for Day 2, but we have seen quite a few Manila and Davao-based players already checking the room.
The action was really on the Cash game as the room at one point was almost fully packed for the cash game.
The biggest one was the 500-500-1,000 blinds and one player won more than 5 million last night. It was a crazy night, to say the least as the Action on the big game was very exciting.
At one point, the pot was averaging 2 Million a hand. A player even shoves with 7 4 suited pre-flop. It was just that crazy.
Back to the tournament, We expect today to get a good number as a lot of other players have arrived and were seen in the vicinity or were at the lobby of the Alpha suite (the recommended hotel of the Poker room and is located a stone throw away from the room.) checking in.
