Due to some booking problems, we had to extend our stay in Cebu until today, it is sad we would be missing the Pre-event of the Metro Card Club PPT 2023, but hopefully, we can cover the Main event tomorrow.
Our flight is set for tonight.
But just like us, some players were stranded in Cebu, but a lot of them were able to adapt and will be flying out.
So what have the players been up to while they were stuck in Cebu?
Here is a quick look at how the past few days has been.
It’s time to roam
As the players helped each other to find a way to get back to Manila, after it was done, its time to finally tour Cebu, here are some places the players decided to go to.

The Simala Shrine is a Romana catholic pilgrimage site built, described by many as one of the most beautiful churches in the Philippines. a definite must go to the next trip.

Some players went swimming with the fish and whales literally!

The church was declared a national historical landmark in 1941.
Founded in 1565, It is the oldest Roman Catholic church in the country, allegedly built on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño de Cebú was found during the expedition of Miguel López de Legazpi.
Magellans’s cross
The Magellan’s Cross refers to the original wooden cross planted by explorers of the Spanish expedition of the first circumnavigation of the world, led by Ferdinand Magellan, upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on April 21, 1521.
The original cross was encased inside another wooden cross made of tindalo wood in 1835.

The spinefoot fish (known sometimes as rabbitfish, the family to which it belongs) is called danggit in the local language.
This fish is abundant in the shallow waters of many areas of the Philippines and is a staple ingredient of the local traditional kitchen in the form of dried fish.
They also have dried mangoes and squid as well. some stores have them neatly packed so it is easy to bring them to Manila.
