Earlier today we were treated with  Balbacua.

Balbacua, also spelled balbakwa or balbakoa, is a Filipino beef stew made from beef, collagen-rich beef parts, and various spices cooked for several hours until very tender.

Cebu is known for such dishes and the one by Matias is definitely a must taste!

Day 1E started with. 3tables, but 10 minutes into the game table 4 has been set up.

Players are advised to come early as it is expected the room to be full today

Brunch

May pa Letson pa si madam

Filipinos have always been known for their hospitality. but living in the city has changed all that.

But the provinces like Cebu and Davao still maintain it as part of their culture.

Being guests at the Sinulog Festival, players were treated to a good brunch that starts early enough but not too early.

The brunch is set up at 10 while the tournament starts at 12:00 which is perfect for the whole set-up.

Today players were treated with a small lechon too. One of the foods that Cebu is well known for.

Players who opt to join the brunch can wake up and join the other players, but after finishing they would still have enough time to prepare for today’s battle.
