Today is the last day 1 of the first Major tournament The Bluff Masters of Masters Poker.

It is a PHP 1 Million Guaranteed event for only PHP 5,500.

So far only a few players qualified for day 2.

Registration for the bluff master is officially closed.

A successful event since the guarantee was smashed. we are still waiting for the final numbers and remember guys, they will have a side event on the 29.

Now on the break time.

This is. the last break before the registration closes. The Bluff Masters has definitely attracted quite a few new players to the game.

It is quite a good sign that there are poker rooms that truly promote real poker.

Quite a good number of pros have joined The bluff, Masters. William Ysmael, who was unsuccessful on his first try is now playing day 1D.

William Ysmael is a Metro Team pro and wishes to bring it home for his team.

 

18:15 HRS – Level 9 – Blinds 300/600/600 –  103 players

Jaja Leoncio is one of the few players that has been running well but just not good enough. He has cashed a few events in the APT Philippines 2022 which make him quite formidable on the table.

He just has not reached the right level yet but definitely growing star for this year.

 

17:45 HRS – Level 8 – Blinds 250/500/500 –  89 players

The beauty of having good structure tournaments is players can learn to play poker the right way.

Not many will win in a tournament. but giving them a chance to learn to play the right way will keep them playing more.

Vamerdino Magsakay. a legend nowadays due to some of his poker feats is now playing Day 1D.

Vam is the only Filipino to ever become the champion of a Sunday million and was the APT Player of Series Vietnam. APT Philippines 2022 players of the series were won by Mike Takayama.

16:30 HRS – Level 6 – Blinds 150/300/300 –  70 players

The big guns and champions have started to enter the field.

Jeorge Lagatuz, APT RWM Mystery Bounty weekend Main event champion is now playing Day 1D

16:00 HRS – Level 5 – Blinds 125/250/250 –  53 players

Masters Poker Bluff Master is now over 1 Million. there are still 5-6 more levels before registration closes.

How high can the pot go and how many players will survive?

Bonifacio “Jhun” Mondalo is also playing Day 1D. His first attempt did not go well. but a champion never gives up.

Jae Chang, APT Philippines 2022 main event 2nd placer, is now playing Day 1D.

Jae Chang has played all over the world but considers the Philippines his home.

So far the number is doing great and more players are arriving and ready to go to battle. 

14:15 HRS – Level 1 – Blinds 50/50 –  8 players

Federick Cruz is one of the early runners on the field. Just like John Matsuda, Federick Cruz became a new sensation due to him being able to gain chips on crucial days.

last seen at the Metro’s PPT finishing at 8th place.

He already secured one trophy this year on one of the APT Philippines 2022 Deep stack turbo events and is hungry to bring home more.

There will also be a side event for the Bluff masters. a 250k GTD Mystery Bounty event at 3 PM.

With a buy-in of PHP 2,600 and with a starting stack of 12,000 plus a bind duration of 20 minutes per level.
