Publish date: May 24, 2022

Hey, Poker Playas!

Today is Day 1A of the Master Poker Club’s The Bluff Master. A 1 Million PHP guaranteed poker tournament that promises to be one great event.

So far the PHP 500k GTD tournament did great. but will the first-ever major tournament of the Master do even better?

Will The Master be able to attract the local grinders? Can Master Smash the guarantee? Stay tuned as we give you updates on today event.

2030 HRS – Level 12 – Blinds at 600/1,200/1,200 Ante – 13 players left

John Matsuda once again dominates the table.

Ronn Ryan doing good.

PJ aratea is acumulating chips.

and the dealers are all smiles!

1930 HRS – Level 10 – Blinds at 400/800/800 Ante – 28 players

Ronn Ryan Mesina is also a rising star. However, he has not done anything flashy hence not much news is known.

Ronn actually bagged a side event in the first full live tournament in Manila that was held in Okada and has been cashing in a lot of tourneys ever since.

Poker is changing.

1845 HRS – Level 9 – Blinds at 300/600/600 Ante – 28 players

Things are about to get exciting as the amazing Mr. Day1A finally entered the field.

John Matsuda, who is a current rising star in the local poker scene by gobbling chips and leading day 1’s is a late entry.

Just like John Wick. he is a man of focus. and when he sets his mind. he will push himself forward with determination.

That table should get ready for some poker action.

1830 HRS – Level 9 – Blinds at 300/600/600 Ante – 28 players

Now things are getting exciting. There will be some surprises coming in as the starting stack is 20k and the blinds are perfect.

Registration will close before the start of level 11.

1730 HRS – Level 7 – Blinds at 200/400/400 Ante – 26 players

Now that we are at level 7. It would definitely be a test if they could reach the 50-player mark.

but so far the room has a friendly vibe and the weather is cooling down.

Will there be a last-minute surge stay tuned!

1700 HRS – Level 6 – Blinds at 150/300/300 Ante – 26 players

Super Series Champion, Joe Mark Vasay or Jomak is also playing on Day1A.

He was 4th place in the recently concluded  Master 500k as well.

Day1A might be early but champions are ready.

1630 HRS – Level 5 – Blinds at 125/250/250 Ante – 19 players

The numbers are slowly working themselves up now that the blind is going up.

A few grinders are coming into the room but have yet to enter the field.

But the lovely Erica is here to brighten the player’s day!

1545 HRS – Level 4 – Blinds at 100/200/200 Ante – 14 players

Jharome Pena, who recently was on the final table of the Master 500k GTD tournament.

He was also the PPT – Pre-event champion which was held recently at the Metro.

Now on the field and eying to qualify for day 2

1515 HRS – Level 3 – Blinds at 100/100 – 9 players

Currently, Angel is the man to beat in Day 1A.

Cashing in on. a few tours in the last APT Philippines 2022 and was even the chip leader of Day 1B of the recently Concluded Philippine Poker Tour

Can he repeat his performance today?

Stay tuned!

1430 HRS – Level 2 – Blinds at 50/100 – 8 players

Tournament started on time which is already amazing. Normally in all tournaments in Manila lately, Day1A will always have the weakest numbers.

Then add the fact that most of the poker players in the Philippines always prefer to enter late on the tournament.

It will be at the level 5-6 when the number really comes in. So it is still too early to say how things will turn out.

But starting on time is already a good sign.
