The Master poker club is about to hold its first big tournament ever since the pandemic. the Bluff Master is a 1 Million PHP guarantee that will be held starting on May 24. 2022.
What is so great about the bluff master and will it be any good?
As we do not have. crystal ball to predict the future. what we can do is base things on what recently happened and look at the strong point of the Bluff Master which could turn it into a classic.
The Master Poker Club PHP 500k GTD
Last Sunday, May 22, 2022, The Master poker club held a PHP 500k GTD tournament.
Was it good?
Yes! so far all tournaments in the Master poker room have always exceeded the guarantee. But there is more to that, There are poker rooms and organizers that did clash with the schedule. There has been a semi-daily tour of two rooms. with a PHP 50k guarantee and they are still having problems making sure they do not overlay.
So far the Master Poker club has not encountered those issues. And as we said recently they held a PHP 500k GTD tournament.
The PHP 500k started on time.
230 entrees were recorded which push the pot up to PHP 759,000.
And people should take note. The tournament was held on a Sunday. Which is considered a bad day. Other poker rooms in the area have PHP 50k GTD on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and they still have problems starting on time.
But the tournament started on time. broke the guarantee.
The team really did a great job. it was smooth and even in a small room. the actions and the floor management were right on track.
The dealers were well trained. Service was all around the place. The Internal Security was very attentive. Safe to say everything was on par with regards to standards.
Plus they even did a feature table, the first off-site poker room to ever do so.
So definitely. a great job by the Master’s team.
The Master Poker Club – THe Bluff Master – PHP 1 Million GTD
Yes, this will be the first Multi-day tournament of the Masters. The first major one. So far they exceeded in the small tournaments. But can they pull off a major one?
The guarantee is a modest one. and with the buy-in of PHP 5,500. more or less they would need only 200 players to break the guarantee.
Manila actually has a rich market. There are a lot of players in Manila. Some rooms are still having a hard time meeting their daily guarantees.
Can they break the guarantee?
Well, the answer will be based on Day1A. If they can actually hit 50 on Day1A and Day1B. They will be a runaway winner.
But can they?
Well so far, The Master has a few good things about it that could help them.
The satellite feeders made sure there would be players on Day1A and Day1B.
There could be also smarter players that would prefer to jump in on day 1A and Day1b as it has fewer pros and more bad players.
They also have a good structure which only two poker rooms offer in Manila for an affordable price that the purist and real poker enthusiast would play.
The key will definitely be on Day1A. If Day1A reaches 50. The expectation will be high that they will break the guarantee.
