Florencio Campomanes finished 14th on Main, Bags SHR

Flo also made his presence felt in Vietnam by conquering the Super high roller event. he was running well at the main but a series of bad luck put a stopped to his run.

With so many tournaments now back in Manila and the defending champion of the APPT which will happen this year. Definitely he is a person to look forward to deliver something big this year.

Dave Spade bags Short deck title

Dave Spade made sure to bring one home this time. Although he has been active in playing. His run was not that good. his last trophy was in December during the Okada Special event.

Back to the Philippines

Even if it was the holy week, A special tournament was held at Okada Manila and our local boys did shine. The special event was taken down by a Malaysian however the Filipinos put up a great fight.

Jason Ambata who put up a great fight but was succumb to the massive lead of his opponent only finished second place.

He has been quite active in playing a cash game. will he have a good run this year?

Jose Collada, the Okada Manila Million back-to-back champion was also present and reached the final table.

He has been running deep in a lot of events but has not gained any big title ever since January. but this is also due to limited events.

APT champion Jeorge Lagatuz also made an appearance and run deep. 1 short of getting a seat to the 800k tournament.

but APT Manila is up next week. Can he make a repeat of his win on the APT Mystery Bounty weekend?
