He made a huge impact by being the first Filipino to ever win an APPT Main event and a Red Dragon event before the pandemic.
He has been picky with the event he joined lately but when he does join, he always makes an impact.
And this time he won the first trophy for the Philippines in APT Vietnam

Did not win the first trophy for PH. so he grab two trophies instead
Metro Team Pro and Action Ph ambassador Vamerdino Magsakay definitely still know how to make an impact. He did reach the final table of the super high roller event alongside Florencio Campomanes, but he fell short in that event.
Wanting to make sure he did not go home empty-handed, He bad two single-day Highroller events instead.
Vamerdino has been hitting the news recently as he was the first Filipino to bad two victories in a single tour this year and also became the first Filipino to win a Sunday Million event.
Now he did another back-to-back win. definitely, his eyes are burning to reach a higher height.
Can he get 3 trophies? stay tuned!

Joseph Talamayan – Chip leader for FlightA – Main Event. Dave Spade qualifies for day 2 of the Main event.
Filipino player Joseph Talamayan ended Flight1A with 163,300 in chips. It was a huge chip lead for the main event as when he returned he will have 204 Big Blinds.
This is not the first time he made news as he was also chip leader in the 2018 APT Philippines Main Event and 2019 APT Ho Chi Minh City Championships Day 1A of both events.
Dave Spade may not have been having the best luck in Vietnam. bubbling a side event final table but he did qualify already for Day 2 with a good stack.
