Publish date: January 23, 2022

Hey, poker playas!

Continuing our series of people to watch out for this 2022. Then we can not exclude the one man and his team that has continued to push online poker.

Let us just be honest, the one that rules the online poker market in the Philippines is not Pokerstars, its not GG, but it is Pinoydonks of PP poker.

PP Poker

PP Poker is the one that dominates the local online poker industry as of now. Over the years many have tried but PP is still the dominant force. that is because one union stands above the rest.

There are many advantages that PP Poker has like the use of local currency and a more friendly time for big tournaments.

The truth is PP Poker has disproven a lot of the expert hearsay on what makes a good tournament.

An example is some competitors would increase the guarantee and lower the buy-in just to attract new customers. Yes it does work a little but in the bigger picture. it will always be the service and reliability of the club owners that would be the number 1.

And that is where Monching and Pinoy donks excell in.

About Monching Talisayon

Let us talk about Monching Talisayon first, Monching is a humble guy although a bit flashy at times. but the real Monching is really down to earth.

He really does love the industry and has been supportive of it.

He never denied his humble origin from starting out as a waiter and now living the life.

But even when he is living the life, he never turned his back on the industry that help him grow and still want everything to be dealt with fairly. that how Monching is.

We have an exclusive interview with him a few months ago and here is a link.

Pinoy Donks – “us not me”

In every interaction or interview with Monching on the continued dominance of PP poker, he would always be quick to point out that it is “us not me”.

He would always be quick in correcting that it was he and all the heads that made the group big.

Michael Sayo, Axis Genota, Elle Kuo, Arjohn  Aragon, Prince Quioge is what composes Pinoy Donks. Pinoy Donks would simply not be Pinoy Donks without the other club heads.

Monching would always stress that it is due to his friends and club leaders that made PP poker great.

2022 and onwards

Most likely PinoyDonks and PP poker will continue to dominate the online scene this 2022.

That is because the only thing that the competitors can come up with will be a higher guarantee, lower buy-in, or bigger rake back.

Not to say those are not important things. they are to players.

But it is always the comfort of the players that would be number 1. Things like trust and reliability are key factors.

When you start deciding things based only on numbers. You lose the soul of the company.

Comparing it to Monching and Pinoy Donks. Their union has surpass that. It is the love of the game that is why they continue to keep pushing it forward. Win or lose they will push.

Hence this 2022 will still be their year.
