We are now on Day 3 of the Metro Summer Event here at the Metro Card Club, and the energy continues to rise. The ₱500K guaranteed pre-event has been completely smashed, with players turning out in huge numbers and pushing the prize pool to more than double the guarantee.
A total of 609 entries were recorded, building a prize pool of ₱1,018,000—an outstanding start to the series. On top of that, 7 Main Event seats have been added to the prize pool, making the stakes even higher for everyone still in contention.
The eventual champion is set to take home ₱166,000 along with the coveted trophy, but there’s still a long way to go. A total of 72 players qualified across the flights, but with one player double-qualifying, only 71 will return to battle it out, with the best stack moving forward.
