We’re here at 89 Poker Club in Lipa, Batangas for their 300K GTD tournament, and it’s our first time covering this room—and it definitely did not disappoint.
The trip itself was smooth and a bit amusing—we rode a bus down to SM Batangas, where the poker room arranged a pick-up. Conveniently, 89 Poker Club is located near SM, so players can easily grab whatever they need before or after the game.
For those planning to join, a shuttle service is available from SM upon request, and there’s also ample parking space for those bringing their own ride.
As the day goes by, we’ll be posting more details about the room and the event. We’re slowly getting adapted here—so stay tuned for more updates!

Flight 1A wraps up with a solid 48 entries—a good start for 89 Poker Club’s 300K GTD. With two more flights still on the schedule, the big question is: can they hit the guarantee, especially with so many tournaments happening at the same time? Stay tuned!

Now at Level 8 with 4 active tables. The event is running smoothly, with the field made up mostly of locals from Batangas. Interestingly, not many Manila players have been spotted so far!
