Yesterday, we were set to cover the 89 Poker Club 500K event, but instead, we’re on the ground at 9D Poker Club for their 500K GTD tournament.
As for 89 Poker Club, their event has been rescheduled—we’ll be posting the latest updates on that shortly, so stay tuned.
October is already looking stacked for live poker in the Philippines, with multiple tournaments bound to clash. While the 89 Poker Club 300K GTD in Batangas is on our calendar, our current spotlight is on the 9D Poker Club 500K GTD.
Day 1A drew 65 entries, with only 10 players (around 15% of the field) surviving to advance to Day 2. The pros came out swinging, but the field was unforgiving, leaving just a handful to bag up chips.
Day 1B kicks off today at 4 PM—who will join the qualifiers and move one step closer to the title?

9D Poker Club 500K GTD – Day 1B Update
Registration has officially closed, and Day 1B drew a solid turnout. If this momentum continues across the remaining flights, we can expect a healthy prize pool for this event.
On a side note, we’re scheduled to head over to 89 Poker Club in Batangas soon—hoping that event pushes through—before returning to Manila for the final day of 9D Poker Club’s 500K GTD.
