CHASE CUP 2025 – Ending things with a BANG
Publish date: May 28, 2025

Hey, Poker Playas!

The Final Act: A Perfect Ending to the Chase Cup 2025

As the curtains close on the monumental Chase Cup 2025, the ₱500K Freezeout Freeroll proved to be the perfect send-off — and perhaps, the spark of something even greater.

Despite being the last event, the energy was electric. Cebu players began flocking to Voyager Poker Club as early as 12:30 PM, eager to secure a seat. By the close of registration, over 100 alternates were still waiting — a testament to how well-received this finale truly was.

What started as a birthday celebration for Chase Cokaliong evolved into a bold statement: Cebu is ready. Ready to host, ready to lead, and ready to grow the game.

Against all odds — three major Manila events, timing, competition — Voyager and the Cebu poker community pulled it off with heart, grit, and passion.

This may be the final chapter of this week’s event, but it’s only the beginning of a new era in Cebu poker.

The tournament was scheduled to start at 2 PM, but as early as 12 noon, players were already pouring into Voyager Poker Club, eager to take part in the ₱500K Freeroll Freezeout. By the time cards hit the felt, the room was already packed — a powerful sign of how much this event meant to the Cebu poker community.

Player registration officially opened at 1 PM, and the moment it did, a line had already formed. By 1:30 PM, the alternate list had begun to fill up — starting at number 42. With the energy and excitement buzzing in the air, two cash game tables were quickly formed to keep the action going for those waiting to get seated.

The turnout and early rush proved one thing: Cebu is ready, and the community is more alive than ever.
