The summer heat wasn’t the only thing rising in Cebu — so was the excitement as Day 1A of the Mini Chase Cup, the official pre-event of the Chase Cup 2025, got underway. What started as a quiet Sunday quickly turned electric, with poker tables filling up even before the second level began.
By the end of registration, a total of 61 players had joined the action, setting a solid pace for what’s shaping up to be a thrilling tournament. Among those in the field were local champions, seasoned veterans, and a few surprise entries that turned heads the moment they sat down. The atmosphere was a mix of focused determination and community excitement — a true reflection of Cebu’s thriving and competitive poker scene.
