Mike Takayama – Mahal na Hari
Mike Takayama
WSOP BRACELET HOLDER
Mike Takayama, is known as the King of Poker in the Philippines or “Mahal na Hari” is now in Las Vegas gunning for the Main event bracelet.
Last year he ran deep in one of the events but his aces got cracked.
After that, he came back to the Philippines but was active and honing his skills and gaining more experience. He even secured a trophy at the EPT Prague making him a champion in Asia, Europe, and the USA.
Definitely PH best bet to secure the main event bracelet.
Peng Mendoza
James “Peng” Mendoza

The Man who never gives up, James “Peng” Mendoza has been so many ups and down in his life but was able to always rise from the ashes.
His first big rise to fame was winning the PPT and getting a seat for the WSOP main event so many years ago. Although he failed to catch a trophy. Time only made this man stronger.
This year he finished 11th place at the PSPC and now set his target on the WSOP.

Other Champions and grinders that have been confirmed are Lester Edoc, John “JoJo” Tech, Jessie “The Aquaman” Leonarez, William Ysmael, and Jose “Boyet” Drillon.
PH definitely has a good team for this year’s WSOP and we hope them the best and secure a bracelet.
Squid games in Las Vegas
Currently, there are poker rooms in Vegas that offer players squid games. although some poker rooms have their own version of the fast-growing game.
Players are looking for that added excitement and adding squid games to their existing games makes it more intriguing.
Asian players are definitely making a push to add this to their games and Western players are always up for the challenge.
Will it also be available in the Philippines soon?
