As we have set out eyes and preparing for June, we are designing and doing some back-end stuff to improve the site.
There are a lot more areas that we would be fixing and we will only cover two events for the month of June.
We are letting May pass and welcoming June with open arms.
but for now we are sharing a little story.
The frog in the well knows nothing of the sea
The meanining
The Frog on the Well is a story that talks about how people are sometimes limited because their knowledge is based on their own personal experiences.
They view the world on a narrow view and believe the world how they see it.
The story
The story is about a frog who was born and grew up inside a Well. For years, he believed that the well was all that was in the world.
Suddenly a bird dropped by and invited the Frog to visit the sea (sometimes a turtle in other versions). The bird talks about the ocean and the infinite sky and invited to frog to join on the adventure.
Instead of joining, the frog was inviting the bird to come live with him in the well and how great the well really was. Time went on and the bird decided to leave.
The frog instead started believing that the bird was only trying to trick him and there is no greater or bigger thing in the world than the inside of the Well.
The Lesson
The moral of the story is that people often time view the world from a narrow point of view that is based on his/her own experience.
Just because we believe in something based on our own experience. it doesn’t make it true or right.
Breaking the limit
On one side we do tell people to start opening their eyes, but we also tell people not to listen to others blindly.
People should learn to experience the world on their own but listen to people as well but only as a guide.
Never be blinded and just be blinded to what others tell you and learn to look at facts.
