Citto, a regular grinder in Cebu,  visited Manila last week as he tried his luck on the MSE 2023. Unsuccessful in his attempt. he is now in Gensan aiming for the Torphy.

VIZMIN has a different approach to how they deal with players.

They nurture growth, while Manila rooms are more invested in something else.

Qualifying early on before the crowd becomes messy and the field gets heavier is the key.

ALthough some players still prefer to enter on the Final flight.

Benhur,  is one of the local grinders of the VIZMIN, He had some deep runs this year but no big cashes.

Another hopeful to someday hit the Poker scene big.

The Destroyer

Another local grinder is Sean also known as “The Destroyer”,  Last night he was seen grinding at the Cash table and was the toughest opponent on the table.

Bong Bart was seen in 2Ace Poker – GG Million Leg 8 and Metro Summer Event 2023. He was the Semi-bubble for the Main Event of the MSE 2023 but vowed to win it next time.

Davao is a two-hour drive from Gensan. Hence some players opt to go to Davao especially if they have cars instead of going to Gensan direct.

Christian Lavarez

Christian Lavarez, is one of the known players of Davao and was present in the Metro Summer Event 2023 of the Metro Card Club.

One of the Youngbloods of Davao who wants to make a name in the Poker inudstry.

So far this year he had some good cashes in the VIZMIN circuit but hopes to make a big one in Manila.

Meanwhile, Chef Garet, is playing Day 1B as well. Last seen finishing 3rd place in the Araw ng Dabaw 2023 poker tournament held at Metro Card Club Davao.

She tries to balance playing poker and working her magic in the kitchen and is quite a good chef. Manila players who visit Davao are sometimes treated to her creation.

For non Gensan players. if you travel via plane. THe airport has plenty of Taxis and all you have to tell them is the Royal Hotel.

The hotel is just in front of the poker room so it is easily accesible.

Players from Cagayan and Cebu are also coming in. Meanwhile, for Manila, it looks like it would only be one which is the Metro Team Pro Yatz Javier.

Araw ng Dabaw 2023 CHampion

Alex Cruz, Who recently won the Araw ng Dabaw poker tournament 2023 of the Metro Card Club Davao is now playing Day 1A.

It was. along match and he went heads up against A Korean/Davao player Sam

The heads-up was a grueling match, it took hours before a champion was declared. A regular on the VIZMIN poker circuit. He plans to add the Gensan trophy to his collection.

Angel K, Who was unsuccessful to qualify yesterday is now back on the felt hoping to qualify.

Although getting a good lead at first. He could not qualify for Day 1A

Angel has been going around VIZMIN and even was in Manila for the Metro Summer Event hoping to make it begin the Poker scene.

Although it is still unpredictable what would be the turnout today. the Gensan Team is ready for anything.
