We are now back in Manila After covering the Sinulog 2023 of the Voyager poker Club.
Today we will be covering the PPT 2023 of the Metro Card Club. A 3 million guaranteed event for only 6,600.
The PPT is one of the yearly events of the Metro and this is something we love about the Metro. When you say PPT 2022 champion. there is only one. you know the player and you know it’s Bimby.
It creates value for the tournament itself. Anyway time to cover it.

127 entries for a Day 1A, We believe it is the biggest Day 1A for a Metro Event.
Which is a good start for the Main Event.
This is the first Big Metro event for 2023 which is a very good sign that Metro is doing good.
Edgars Asehan Hr was seen on the felt. Aquaman, Jessie Leonarez is also playing Day 1A.
We last saw playing the big games of Voyager Poker Club during Sinulog 2023.
And Joe Mark Vasay, who is hungry for a trophy. with 3 more levels. who would survived Day 1A

The Chief, Marc Rivera, is playing Day 1A and has accumulated a good stack.
Lester Edoc taking it easy since he doubled up on the early Level.
The Metro Pros, which is the biggest local poker Pro group representing the Metro is in full force today.
Looking at the numbers, a good choice, as this is the first event of the Metro for 2023 and they came out with a Bang!
Meanwhile, JC Estrella is doing his best on a pro heavy table.

Maxwell Philipe Rosete or Bimby, is the defending Champion of the PPT, He won the Event last year and is now playing to defend his crown.
Can he do it??
Vince Nachor is the Pre-event Champion, he also won the BluffMasters Finale Main event last December. Is he on a hot run and can he take the title away from Bimby?
Meanwhile, the tournament is doing great and may surpass 100 players today.

In a surprising turn of Events. Day 1A of the PPT actually has a good number.
Currently at level 5 with 85 entries and even the Metro Pros are in full force.
Lester Edoc has more than 50k stack and is playing around the pool table with Mike Takayama.
Joseph Sia and Joven Huerto are on 1 table.
Vamerdino Magsakay and William Ysmael are at another table. Definitely a good turn out for Day 1A

“Para mas Maraming tsanta” Yatz was heard saying.
Alexis Lim is playing as well, on the last event of the Metro which was the Christmas special. Alexis ran deep hitting the Final table.
Meanwhile, the Ever lovable Daddy Rico is having fun on his table while gaining chips.
The number looking great for a Day 1A.
