Jose Colada was the first champion of 2022 by winning the 2nd Okada Manila Million. this was before the lockdown began. He also won the second Okada Manila million which was held this year when live tournaments started coming back.

Darren Yu was in the spotlight this year as he only became more active in 2022 in the live poker scene. A fil-Am who is supportive of the local talents.
This year he won the Omaha hi-o split of APT and bagged the D’heights 999k GTD. The last event of 2022
