The Hands we Play
A lot of people today from organizers and different media would only post the hand. but the story sometimes paints a different picture.
For example, early level of the tourney a player shoves with 2 4 suited preflop. is that the end of the story? Can we simply brand him as a fish?
Early on Day 1A, The BIGTIME did just that, An opponent called him 69 Suited. the Flop was brick for both and the BIGTIME commented he could be busted out with 9 high jokingly. but lady luck was on the BIGTIME side and he hit the four on the turn.
But it doesn’t mean he is a fish just because of that hand.
The truth is the BIGTIME is a pro, he is after all a champion and was close to claiming the main event title in the recently concluded tournament at the Newport World Resort.
“Animal yan pag nag ka stack” or he is a monster when he gets a good stack. Which is true. turning that chip lead and ending the day as the chip leader which was no surprise to those who really know him. With that lead or edge against his opponents, and he used it to the fullest ending day 1A as the chip leader.
He may not have an image of a PRO, but any pro he goes up against would definitely tell you the guy is a monster.
And the BIGTIME chip lead might be enough to propel him to another trophy.
Definitely, a must-watch so stay tuned.
It is sad that some organizers prefer to dictate the story to the media. banning other media from covering their event unless you kiss their A** and forcing us to just write what they provide.
Let the story flow.
