GG Millions Leg 4 – Warm Up – players to watch out for
Ashley De Guzman
ActionPH
Humility is quite rare now in the poker industry. A win sometimes in a small tournament is now used as a credential to increase the rate in percent selling.
Not, Ashley De Guzman, this guy has won a lot of live tournaments this year alone compared to others, his credential is way better.
And yet he sits now on the final table of the Warm-up event of the GG Millions.
He preferred to build up his bankroll and experience first before venturing into deeper fields.
It is quite true that nowadays players are selling up to 70% with huge markups thereby earning already by default even before joining the event.
“Baka manalo at malaki agad” or “Maybe we could win and win big.”
The hard truth is that poker is still a skill game which is why players like Flo, Dave, and Mike Takayama always win. they have devoted their time and money to improve their skills.
Soon we will have a future champion. patience is a virtue.
GG Millions Leg 4 – Warm Up – players to watch out for
Jason Ong
ActionPH Coach
The worst part of the poke industry is frequently poker players, and even officers judge other people based on their limited knowledge.
Quite recently, a management team judge us that Pokercast Asia does not merit a Media pass without understanding the KPI and traffic.
Jason Ong may look like a foreigner and a nobody as he has few live appearances and took. a good-sized chip yesterday on flight 1B. Believing he is just lucky.
Guess what, he is an ActionPH coach, and if you were to ask Jason Magbanua or William Ysmael if he is a good player. you might be surprised by the answer.
Yes, he could have played the APT main now but chose to play at GG instead.
Believing that GG has a much easier field and his time will come for APT in the future. just not now.
Will he win today’s Warm up at GG?
Stay tuned.
