The Undisputed Mike Takayama is now playing the Main Event of the WSOP.
The World Series of Poker is the biggest tournament in the world and the dream. of every Poker player to win or owned a bracelet as a testament to being one of the best in the world.
Mike Takayama is considered the best poker player in the Philippines right now as even his recent achievement this year alone is an accomplishment only few have ever achieved.

Mike Takayama is the first Homegrown Filipino to ever win a bracelet. He has won many events and to list them down will take a huge space.
Sticking to this year alone just when tournaments were allowed to be held once again. Takayama made an impact in 3 major events (Events where the main is more than 10 Million PHP GTD).
The first one was the Asian poker tour held at Resort World where he ended up winning the players of the series.
Next was the APPT Manila Open where he finished 2nd place in the main event.
The last major event before he flew to Las Vegas, the APC which was held at Metro Card Club main event was won by Mike Takayama.
He is truly unstoppable.

Acknowledging the need to support the local talents, Nuebe Gaming decided to fully support Mike Takayama in his bid for another bracelet.
What Wesley So is to chess, Mike Takayama is to poker.
The Philippines had so many great talents that could make its country proud but it lacks the system to support its talent.

WSOP 2022 – Side events
Mike so far has only Joined a few events since arriving at the WSOP.
So far he has cashed one event which had a huge number of players. A total of 14,112 players joined the event 68. 10 times more than any tournament that was ever held on the Philippines shore.
Mike Takayama may not have won it, but he ran deep into the event and this is just the warm-up.
WSOP 2022 – The Main event
Mike Takayama has now jumped into the main event.
Yes, it will be an uphill battle to climb all the way to the top. He will have to compete with some of the best in the world. It will not be an easy battle.
