The pandemic may not be over but live poker tournaments are back. May 2022 was actually quite a busy month. There were many good tournaments that happened in May.
Too many as we would remove the APT Philippines 2022 as it deserved a separate list on its own.
One of the most worthy things to mention is how 3 organizers stuck with offering well-structured tournaments and continue to push forward the industry to be better.

Flo Campomanes won the first WPT Primes Vietnam Highroller event introduced this year in WPT Vietnam. The Super Stars Challenge Invitational with a buy-in of VN₫ 210,000,000 (~US$ 9,100) and attracted WSOP bracelet winners Kartik Ved (India), Mike Takayama (Philippines), and Vietnamese pros Nang Quang Nguyen, Huu Dung Nguyen, Trong Hieu Ngo.

Dave Spade – 10th place in Headhunters and 9th place in another event.
Dave Spade also ran deep in the WPT Vietnam but no titles but many close calls. Dave is the head of the ActionPH and recently delivered big in ending 3rd place in the championship event at the APT Philippines 2022.
Conrad Lumaban delivers big on the Masters Poker Bluff Masters.
Masters poker , the poker club in Malate held its first major tournament last Sunday. it also included a pre-event but one players made a sweep securing both the pre-event and the main event.

What is funny is that he was actually sitting on the same chair and same position in two final tables.

The Philippines Poker Tour of the Metro Card Club was once again held after a long hiatus due to the lockdown. It was also the first time a side event was held
The Metro Card Club is the biggest poker room in Manila and also the home of Philippines champions.

Maxwell is known as a protege of Flo Campomanes and has slowly proven his worth by climbing up the ranks.
