The Godzilla

695,000

The Godzilla, Emman has won multiple events trough out his career. but there are times it depends on his mood.

But now he is in his good form with a good stack and poise to take it over.

Can he do it?

Jim Patrick Asignacion

530,000

Renato Villanueva Jr

433,000

Renato Villanueva has played poker for so many years but has not really won any of the major tournaments. He was one of those players that used to be a frequent player in the room but nothing really outstanding.

That all changed after the lockdown. He is no longer as frequent as he used to be but has significantly improved his game and running deep in some of the majors.

In Okada special tournament last December was the first full live tournament in Manila since the lockdown and Rhenz made it to the final table.

Is the new improved Rhenz now a champion material? Stay tuned!

Hernan Villa

Metro Summer Event 6th place

375,000

BJ Perez

337,000

BJ Perez had many deep runs in live tournaments this year. He even finished 2nd place in one of Metro’s big tournaments.

On live poker tournament.  this player has accumulated it without question.

he is also hungry and inspired to finally win. a big one.

But will that be enough to help him win this event?

Stay tuned!

Marwell Philippe Rosete

325,000

Some of the best and champions of the local poker industry have praised Maxwell as an upcoming poker superstar. That is a testament to the potential of this young kid.

There were even some local pros who placed him under their wings and taught them some of the best-kept secrets in the game.

That being said, this kid might really have some potential.

Now that he is on stage and has the chance to prove it. will he be able to live up to his mentor’s view of him?

Stay tuned!

Marvin Cerbito

276,000

Julian Tolentino

256,000

Jun Talosig

251,000

Raisid Paitao

Defending champion – 2020 PPT Champion

209,000

Raisid is the defending champion of the PPT. Although 2years have passed, the last PPT happened just before the lockdown and it was only this year that live poker tournaments can be held more easily.

Starting day 2 as part of the top 10, he now sits with only 13 BB left. He was also absent from some of the big tours that happened recently.

Will he be able to defend his title?

Stay tuned!

Leonel Edejer

137,000

Edejer is a dark horse for this series, during day 1D, he was smooth in his move and went toe to toe with some of the best of the Philippines.

No record reflects in the Global poker index. this could be one of his first live wins.

Although we still did see some kinks in his armor. But as this is the first time we have seen him in action. it is too early to say if it was kinks or intentional.

With only 16 players left, only the game will tell.

George Salud

92,000

George Salud has been playing poker for a long time and he may be starting Day 3 with a small stack but then again he may be able to perform another hat trick

We say “again” because, in one of the big events of the APT Philippines 2022, He entered Day 2 with the smallest stack and still ended up in the final table.

As the Metro structure is good, there might be a hat trick that could come out of this poker player.

Reigin Leongson
