In a very crucial hand against Leopoldo Capule that place him in the spotlight for day 1A

Both Edejer and Capule had more than 100k in chips at the late stages of Day1A. Then suddenly they got engaged in a hot flop action.

one a very low board of rags but with two clubs. Capule went all in and was snap-called by Edejer. As luck would have it Capule had pocket 8 while Edejer had the pocket aces.

Capule was in the lead, but a runner-runner Edejer got a flush as the board had 4 clubs and taking Capule stock.

He then proceeded to eliminate players and ended Day1 A as chip leader.

Rommel “Mau” Angeles

Mau is a veteran of this game and has gone head to head with some of the biggest and best poker players in the Philippines.

Metro is also one of Mau’s home turf as he has played there a lot. Can it become a home court advantage?

Federick Cruz has been a hot bet lately as this is due to being the player who can also take a chip leader.

In the last metro event, he became chip leader for day 3, and he also made a splash as he was on the top on the championship flight B.

while he can amass chip like it was being given to him. He did get a trophy for the side event.

although he has yet to win a big trophy. he is definitely now in the top 10 in chips and could potentially hit a main event.

Rasid Paitao
