Today is Day1B of Metro Card Club’s Philippine Poker Tour (PPT). A PHP 2 Million Guaranteed tournament for only PHP 5,500 (PHP 5,000 + 500).
the starting stack is 15,000 and it is 30 minutes per level!
This time around players will only play till level 14.
Metro is one of two poker rooms that offer good tournaments with a good structure for an affordable price.

Hit the heat also ran deep in some of the events at the APT but failed to take a trophy home. But this time he vowed to do better.

Elmo Celi
Okada Special Tournament December 2022 main event champion.
Elmo is one of those colorful players that make the poker world quite interesting. He has some stories that are quite fun to hear.
Like the time when he was the back-to-back-to-back champion of a daily tournament.
When the Philippines were allowed to hold poker tournaments again. Elmo became the first champion of the first full live tournament in the Philippines and even was against the great Lester Edoc in the heads up.
We often hear how many players believe they are better than Elmo. but Elmo is a champion. and he is now playing Day1B

Jose Cheung, one of the two players that were able to secure trophies during the APT Philippines 2022 held at Resort World is seen early at the Metro Card Club with the intention of joining Day1B.
Jose also finished 10th place in the championship event.
