It is now Day 7, the main event has just finished and now we are starting the championship.

John Matsuda during the Metro summer event played Day1A and finished as the chip leader for all day1. For the APT Philippines – Event 1, he was once again the chip leader entering via FlightA

But on the main event, he change his style and entered day 1B. he did qualify for day 2 but his stack was a little average.

Now back at entering Day1A for the championship. he is definitely in the top 5 in chips.

Maybe he is lucky when he enters day 1A? because he was eliminating players even as the last few hands were played.

The recent win by Renniel Galvez might have inspired more Filipinos to join in on the fun. Turning PHP 55,000 to more than PHP 2 million. 

1800 HRS – Event 14 – NLH Single day – Level 12 – Blinds 600/1,200/1,200 – 28/83 players

A lot of the players opted to join the side event first rather than the championship as they plan to play it tomorrow.

The main event’s top 3 players were on the side event and Renniel Galvez is still doing good.

Grace Takayama is still slaying on the field and the pot is looking great. Dave Spade having fun on the side after he lost on the main.

1700 HRS – Championship Event – Level 4 – Blinds 200/400/400 – 40/40 players

The championship event is now slowly picking up steam. With a starting stack of 50,000. there are players who are favoring to enter late.

However, some prefer to enter early like ActionPH pro and Metro team pro Vamerdino Magsakay, he wants to have an early go at the game to gain more chips. 

1430 HRS – Event 14 – NLH Single day – Level 5 – Blinds 100/200/200 – 48/48 players

Now that the main is over and only one ActionPH member was able to reach the final table.

Dave Spade is more determined to win the championship event.
