There are still Filipinos in the Mystery Bounty event including Fredrick Cruz who made news by being the chip leader of day 2.

Now that we are close to the final 8. it will be a battle.

There is a lot of headhunting going on in the headhunter’s event.

Christopher “BIGTIME” Mateo is still in the Mystery bounty event and still doing good. he did great in the Metro summer event and with a good stack now. He could probably hit it big with this one.

John Matsuda was in the headline recently by becoming chip leader in the Metro summer event which was unbeaten until the last day 1. However, he fell short and did not reach the final table.

Gaining more experience in the last event. Can he this time get the trophy?

The only Filipino-born player to win a WSOP bracelet, Mike Takayama is the biggest poker influencer in Manila, followed by many and considered the best poker player in the Philippines now. He is now playing the mystery bounty event eyeing the trophy to be added to his collection

Lester “Hazel” Timonera lost to Jeorge “Egoy” Lagatuz on the first Mystery Bounty in the Philippines.

This time she is more determined to win this event. Starting Day 2 with a good stack. She has eyes on the prize and will not let anyone stop her.

The Mystery Bounty was first introduced this year by the Asian  Poker tour and the Defending champion Jeorge Lagatuz intends to defend his title.
