The battle at Manila Bay

The real action will always be at the poker houses. that is because the system was built like that.

A poker room that is inside a casino will always have players. that is because you would have some other table game players getting curious.

It is reliant on spillovers or people being comfortable with going to a casino.

While those outside the casinos are more reliant on invites and other stuff. That is why poker houses can attract more players sometimes but this is due to that they were built like that. they need to keep inviting and not sleep. They need to be aggressive and create promotions more. So which one has the great stuff today? here is a quick look!

Master Poker Room

Master poker club had a PHP 72k GTD tournament today that started at 2 PM. on our last check, it has surpassed 150 players already. 

The truth is Manila always had a rich number of players, especially in tournaments. before the pandemic, poker rooms would have more than 500K PHP GTD tournaments and all would easily break the guarantee.

The key was always 3 things. first, have a good guarantee and then a decent buy-in. Then of course a decent structure. Masters started first with a loyalty program studying the pattern and coordinated with the right people to make sure words spread out. 

It hit those 3 things which made a simple 72k tournament surpass the guarantee easily.

However, the downside is that due to the number of tables available. We are still wondering how their cash game would look like today. 

Lucky Sen poker room

Also in Malate is the Lucky Sen Poker room. a close walking distance to Robinson Mall. 

Lucky sen poker has been having great big games lately which included some juicy Omaha games. 

The lineup today looks promising and currently running 50-100 games is running with some of the more aggressive players on the line-up

The big games scheduled today have some juicy fishes lined up. The host Tina is definitely doing a great job on the big games and a new host for the smaller games was added to assist with the game.

There is no lack of fish in there but be prepared to bring your wallet. There are regulars players there that would be happy to call you with their small pair to win. 

A lot of the Manila champions will be playing there tonight. so it is looking very promising. 

The food is great compared to other poker rooms so definitely a must-visit tonight.

Metro Card Club

The biggest card room in Manila will have to shut its door tomorrow due to a presidential parade tomorrow. but that does not mean there will not be any action tonight. 

If you are worried that you might get affected by it. it is possible as the parking lots will not be available on April 3.

Metrowalk has always been a busy place but if you want to take the risk. it is still a risk worth taking as the action there is fun. 

They will also be the ones that would kick off an April tournament. so it is still worth a visit.
